The business computer is never used outside the business. The office where this computer is located is always locked when not in use. The business computer is also password protected and is only used by one person. Should the office computer be stolen, a call would immediately be placed to the police and patients would be notified that their health data and contact information might be on this computer. They would also be told that the data on the computer was password protected. After these steps were taken, I would notify BMT that the computer had been stolen and that the data was password protected.
